What is eBeam Embellishment?
NBi FlexPack offers eBeam, a curing technology that uses a focused stream of high-energy electrons to instantly dry or cure specially formulated inks, coatings, or adhesives—without the need for heat or UV lamps.
eBeam embellishments are used to:
- Cure spot and flood coatings- satin, gloss, and soft touch instantly and completely which shortens lead times.

How Does eBeam Embellishment Work?
- Application: A specialized water-based coating or ink is applied to the flexible packaging material.
- eBeam Curing: The flexible packaging film passes through an eBeam chamber, where a high-energy electron beam cures and bonds the coating instantly making it safer for customers. Other curing technologies can leave behind harmful chemicals if not completely cured.
